About the Book
Tales from the Houn House and Beyond is a collection of stories written by volunteers with the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas (GALT). From adopting a retired racing greyhound to working directly with the hounds at the Houn House, individuals describe their experiences.

Houn House was a kennel leased by GALT thru December 2024 to house the rather large influx of hounds after the closing of race tracks in Florida.
Contributors/Authors
The voices within the text are those of volunteers working with GALT and represent a diverse cross-section of society. United by their love of the breed and concern for the hounds, contributors have agreed to forego remuneration for their efforts; consequently, all proceeds from book sales go directly to the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas to help with costs incurred in support of the hounds.
